Making a Case for the Giant Magnifying Glass

Making a Case for the Giant Magnifying Glass

The first thing that I noticed about the magnifying glass that one of the dump rats gave me was that it had a few scratches.  Encased in a television, that wouldn't normally happen.  I assume it is from being in his (and my) pocket.

So, if you've been following, I do a little leather work.  All of my stuff is for function, not for beauty and it usually ends up looking like a 4th grader did it in summer school because his teacher made him.  Fine.  So be it.  I will take function over fashion any day.

Below is a picture tutorial.  Post questions if you have them.  I'm not going to bore you with the blah, blah, blah (unless you want it).

So, I know it is a bit ghetto, but this is the giveaway.  I made this to fit easily in a pack.  It could be yours!  All you have to do is be a follower and email your user name to me at thesharpenedaxe@hotmail.com.  Do you have to be a follower at the time of this posting?  No!  Hit follow now and email me!e@hotmail.com

Just so you know, the field was really small at the last giveaway.  I had maybe 20 entries out of approximately 200-300 hits a day.

I don't care where you live or how long you've been reading - email me.

Pax Domini Sit Semper Vobiscum,

Mike, Oscar, Hotel.....out.

  1. What? No fancy fold-out frame like the botanists use? :-)

  2. A fare enough job, & it works. It may have looked a little neater had you turned it inside out after stitching, but would make it no more practicle.
A good gift for someone. May I add a couple of links to my video, Reading Glass Fire Lighting. Feel free to post this video on your blog if you wish.
    Regards.
