You did it. WE HIT 50 FOLLOWERS!

I Never Thought 50 Would Look SO Good!

Well, you all did it.  We have finally hit 50 followers (53 as of today).  I promised that when we hit the BIG 5-0 we would have a gear giveaway.  So here it is.  Nothing fancy.....I live on a very modest budget, but I wanted to say a special thank you to all that follow and all that write.

The rules.  Well, there's only one real rule.  You have to be a follower.  Not a follower?  No worries.  Click follow and I will accept your entry.  To enter, email thesharpenedaxe@hotmail.com .  This is a new address, please note that entries sent to my regular address will probably go to junk mail and not be accepted.

-Please include your user name in the email so I can verify that you are a follower.

- Please tell me in the email, what you would like to be in the drawing for.  If you want to be in on all items, simply tell me "all".  If you want in on a specific item or items, please specify which ones.

-  I'm only asking this, but you don't have to do it.  Mention this blog to someone.  Put it in your signature line of your favorite forum for one week.  Start a topic about it on your favorite discussion forum.  Post this link on your blog.  Tell your local sanitation worker.  Post the address on the classifieds board at your local grocery store.  Do something to help me promote this site.

- All entries must be received by January 27th, 2011.

Nothing else is required.  Names will be put in a buffalo scrotum and drawn at random.  I pay shipping.  You pay nothing.  Once I'm done with your address, I will delete it from my email and burn my computer.  I respect privacy as much as possible.  My given name isn't even Mike Oscar Hotel. :)

Here are the items:

Flint and steel.  One piece of flint included.  Tried out by me to make sure it worked.  It did.  Other than that, BRAND NEW!

One magnesium fire sparker.  Not as pictured.  Will be new in box with blade.

One Fresnel lens as pictured.  These things are great.  It is like a magnifying glass that fits in your wallet - and it is bendy!

Bushcraft, by the master, Mors Kochanski.  'Nuff said.

One cardboard stove, not as pictured.  I have a new one to give you.  This is the one I've been enjoying.  Shape may vary.

One Lansky Puck as pictured.  I love mine.

Patriots, A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse , by James Wesley, Rawles.  I'm not a survivalist, I just play one on tv.  It is really like an instruction manual wrapped in fiction wrapped in a best case scenario wrapped inside of a Sly Stallone movie where he never took HGH.  Okay, maybe it is more Bruce Willis.  Post Demi Moore.....but she lives in Idaho, so maybe with Demi Moore?  Never mind.  It's a good book.  I read it.  Lots of good info if you're a turd-is-gonna-hit-the-fan-and-I-better-be-ready guy.  Be prepared.

THANKS TO ONE AND ALL!

Pax Domini Sit Semper Vobiscum,

Mike, Oscar, Hotel.....out.
